Oops Mommy!; Scottsboro Al child photographer

This was one fun shoot!!  I often get asked where my inspiration comes from, and it's always somewhere different.  Inspiration for this shoot came from this little boy's mom posting a pic of him terrorizing her bathroom.  I instantly had an idea to photograph this, as well as adding a bubble bath into the mix.  This particular idea is for a special cause.  Crisis Services in Scottsboro recently moved to a new location (where I volunteer) and they are in need of some photos to hang on the walls.  It just so happens that this particular little boy has a grandmother who was a victim of domestic violence, so who better to grace the walls of the crisis center?  There will be more shoots of this family to come, but for now enjoy these!  A special thank you to the Soistman's for the use of their beautiful bathroom! If you know anyone who has or is a victim and would like to be a model for photos to be put up in the office, please contact me.  I will even take non-victims that just want to do something for a good cause!  Reach me by phone 256-609-1520 or email lifesmirrorimages@gmail.com

My first Bridal Fair!; Alabama wedding photographer

This is a picture of my booth at my first bridal fair this past Sunday in Scottsboro.  I was not expecting to be in attendance at this fair until the last minute, so I quickly threw together some ideas for a booth.   I was very pleased with the struture of Jackson County's Bridal Fair.  If you missed it and are planning a wedding, you missed some great opportunities to meet with quite a few vendors.  If you came and stopped by, thank you for the interest!  I was able to meet and talk with many brides from this area, and I wish all of you good luck in planning your wedding day.  I held a drawing for a free shoot, in which Tiffany Waldrop was the winner.  Congrats Tiffany!  If you didn't win, become a member on facebook page for more chances to win free stuff from Life's Mirror Images!  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scottsboro-AL/Lifes-Mirror-Images/135261085887?ref=ts I'd like to thank Judy and Debbie for helping me run my booth and market my business and my husband for helping me set up and get everything together!  All of you were a huge help.  I am happy to say the bridal fair was a success for me, and this is the first of many to come.  Thank you for the interest and all the help! A special thank you to my past brides for your pictures in my portfolio!

Meredith and Andy; Birmingham wedding photographer

This wedding was an absolute joy to photograph.  Not only does the bride have that fun and joyous attitude, but she just so happens to be an old friend of mine.  We go back to the childhood summers of Camp Sumatanga, which hold many great memories for me.  When Meredith asked me to shoot her wedding, my heart was filled with joy.   Believe me, it is a real honor for you to entrust me with such an important thing, and when I hold you close to my heart, it means that much more.  This is the cutest couple, so this blog will have just a bit more pics than the usual.  Meredith and Andy, this is one of the best weddings that I have attended.  I had such a great time as your photographer and your friend.  Enjoy just a peek at these!

Emory Christmas

Emory is such a little doll!  She is so beautiful, I can just see her as a model for children's clothing!  Especially in the fact that her mommy has her dressed so cute always! This little girl captured my heart the moment I met her when she reached out for me.  She was so easy for my camera and I just couldn't stop taking pics!  Mommy, I know you already have them and how you feel about them!  You made my day!  Everyone else enjoy this little beauty and hopefully we will see her gorgeous mom on here one day soon!

Pope Christmas

These two little darlings are simply precious.  The love they have for each other is simply amazing.  It reminds me of how my brother and me were.  They are so cute and were fun to take pictures of, as the little girl had to "vogue" for almost every picture.  Here are a few highlights and thank you Goody 2 Shoes for a great backdrop!  If you have not checked out Goody 2 Shoes, hurry in and check out the stylish shoes and clothes they have.  I'm so happy Scottsboro has a store like this for me to find great dresses in!  Thank you ladies for your kindness and use of your store!
