Meet Justin.

He's my rep for Plainview High School 

this year.

He's a pretty cool guy.

I enjoyed hanging with him and 

the fact he was willing to take photos 

in a location a lot of kids his age 

would have frowned upon.

Her photos are another example of how you don't have to show a lot of skin to be sexy.

These are classy and sexy at the same time.

Back 2 School Mini Session 2011; Scottsboro Al child photographer

When talking with my cousin (wonderfully beautiful and awesome Bliss)

we came up with this thought together.

The idea is from here on out to have photos made each year.

Each year have a list of hobbies and favorites for that child.

Later on the parents and children can look back and see what changed

with each new school year.  

I'm even thinking about offering a small package next year

for first of school day photos with the same concept.

Mary Quince and Brandon; Scottsboro Alabama wedding photographer

When I first got a phone call from Brandon AND Mary Quince

(ahem, kudos to Brandon for making wedding arrangements)

on the same day at different times, I knew I was going to love this wedding.

I grew up babysitting, a lot, did I mention A LOT of children.

Mary Quince and her brother were the first babysitting job I ever had

so naturally it was an honor to be asked to photograph her big day.

Through the planning, the rehearsal dinner, and the wedding I got to 

know her more as a grown up.

She's quite a catch Brandon, 

hold on to her tight.  

Mary Quince is the kind of girl that the world needs more of

loving

caring

unselfish

and just plain ol different.

How many girls wear their mother's wedding dress

walk down the isle with their groom

do their own hair and makeup so they don't look too much not like themselves

use Irish Cream soda for the unity moment

and have her bridesmaids wear colors of a 70s sunset

or don't wear a garter so he throws her slip?

Although their time together has been short thus far

I rarely see two people in love like these two.

I love when families just trust me to let them play and be a family together.

Those times make for the best shots and personality revealing photos.

It was so nice to meet all of you!

Their love just radiates happiness.

He makes her smile, eyes light up, and just giggle the sweetest love giggle I've ever heard.

Kind of mushy isn't it?

Yeah, but it's the kind of love I adore.

That heart stopping

love story kind of love.

These two have it.
