Family Photographer in Scottsboro, Alabama

I'm going to have to warn you,
this blog post
is loaded with photos.
Plus words.
Well at least more than usual.
I couldn't help it this time.
I'm going to have a really hard time culling this shoot down.
I LOVED spending time with this family
and getting to know the little guy you see below.
He made a great subject to shoot
and fun to hang out with.
We all laughed a lot.
I'm also pretty sure there are few people in this world like Kelly, one of the sisters.
For instance...
She was wearing sunglasses
and I held them by hanging them on my pocket.
Well as my luck would have it,
I dropped them
and realized it
when we were across the street.
I told Kelly we had to go back.
"No that's ok, we will look for them later."
"What if that truck runs over them."
"It won't, we'll go look when we get finished."
Later (30 min later) we search for them and her sister finds them in the tall grass.
That's when I find out they are about a $200 pair of sunglasses that I had lost.
Sheesh.
I'm glad we found them
but Kelly had no worries, no cares, just a positive attitude.
I like that.
I knew there was some reason I like her so well.
Ok, enough reading, now onto the photos.
Well what are you waiting for?
Go!

Christmas Mini Sessions 2011; Scottsboro Christmas portrait photographer

This year I will be doing Christmas Mini Sessions.  The set will be a little bit different than some of you have experienced, but yet the same as others.  I will reveal the exact set in a few weeks as the location begins to change into it's fall setting.   Yes, it will be outside.   Now for the pricing details... The session will last 30 minutes and the price is $150.  Included in that price are 25 Christmas cards with an image of your choice.   You will also get a CD with 10-12 edited images and an 8x10 or two 5x7s.  This year the cards will be in the shape of a ball with a ribbon attached so they may be used as ornaments.  The size is 5x5 inches.  (Meaning the diameter is 5 inches)  They will look something like this example (except with a hole at the top and a ribbon):

The date for this session will be Saturday November 5.  I will open one more date as needed; so if that date doesn't work for you but you are interested, do not hesitate to ask!

I Heart Faces Entry

The challenget this week is back to school so I thought what better choice than a photo from my back 2 school sessions!  This is a new idea I had this year in hopes to do these for years to come so the parents and child can look back and see how they have changed physically as well as their favorites.  Check out more photos at I Heart Faces.

Stephanie and Brandon; Scottsboro, Alabama Wedding Photographer

Stephanie and Brandon were so happy on their wedding day.
I just adore the first look photos of the two of them.  He was so happy to see her, as she was him.
I wish you two the best!
Thanks for choosing me in such an important event in your life!
