It was such a joy to shoot this family 

and they were brave to

come out on a cold day. 

There was no complaining and lots of smiles despite the cold! 

Paige is obviously the light of this family

and her light shines when they are with her. 

I'm super proud of her for donating her hair a few days after 

our session together.

Unclaimed Baggage Fashion Show; Event Photographer in Scottsboro, Alabama

Recently I had the privilege 

of capturing the happenings 

at the Unclaimed Baggage Fashion Show

which benefits our local 

Beauty and the Beast Foundation.

I consider myself lucky to get to do this. 

I stood in a room with many 

breast cancer survivors

and not only heard their stories

but I heard them telling their stories to each other.

Talking about treatment

and being sick.

Scars.

What it's like to wake up and

 not have a part of you that's always been there.

I was moved more in the hour I was with them 

than many times in my life.

Thank you ladies for allowing me to be there 

to capture your smiles and celebration of life.

Cayla and Jake; Scottsboro, Alabama Wedding Photographer

These two are great together.  The three of us had a good time walking around on a foggy afternoon trying to hurry to take pictures before the fog took a toll on Cayla's hair (which I love by the way!)

Stephanie; Class of 2011 Senior; Senior Portraits Scottsboro Al photographer

Stephanie is one for sure shy girl that wasn't so sure about being in front of the camera.  Maybe being able to relate with her is how I got her out of her shell.  This girl has no reason to be camera shy, she's gorgeous!  I enjoyed meeting and working with you Stephanie.  Good luck in your senior year!

I was so happy to see these two finally wed!  From the start of dating, you could just see the love they had for each other.  I really think there are not many matches like these two and I'm so proud they have each other.  I know Patrick will make such a great dad for Ethan.  Here are a few pictures from their wedding!
